Kamikazee lead vocalist Jay Contreras and former child star and longtime girlfriend Sarah Abad’s notorious Black Wedding was celebrated at the St. Pancratius Chapel inside the Paco Park on February 2009. The wedding was treated as both unique and eerie by fans and critiques as the couple chose the former cemetery’s chapel.
St. Pancratius Chapel is located inside the Paco Park and Gardens. This dome chapel originally had an altar of white and gold with each side being the repositories for the remains of governors and bishops.
This Chapel, dedicated to St. Pancratius, is perfect for intimate weddings as it can comfortably accommodate up to 100 people and is fully air-conditioned. It is a favorite among soon-to-wed couples in Metro Manila as it is known for its simplicity and elegance, as well as its serenity making it the right place to declare their unending love for each other.
